Overview of Features - Confirm Options (1/5)

When you have finished editing your survey, click the green Submit button at the bottom of the Survey Editor screen. The survey creation process takes you step-by-step through each survey option.
This next screen lets you create an Opening Statement, which respondents will
see on the screen that precedes your survey questions. You can also create a Closing Statement, which appears on the screen that confirms respondents' submissions.
You do not have to use SurveyShare's built-in Opening Statement screen. You can give your respondents a link that leads directly to your survey questions by choosing Feedback Form for your survey type.
You do not have to use SurveyShare's built-in Closing Statement screen. You can redirect respondents to any web address when they submit their survey. You can also opt to share the results of your surveys with respondents, instead of showing them the Closing Statement screen. If you opt to allow participants to view your survey results, SurveyShare will
unlock a special web address (URL) where people can view your survey results
without logging into SurveyShare, and your respondents will be redirected to this URL when they submit their survey responses.

Q: How secure are my surveys, and survey results?
A: Your data is stored on our secure servers. Our hard drives use the RAID protocol to protect against catastrophic failure. We back up the SurveyShare database several times a day to offsite servers. The database copies are permanently stored on tape, which is a method of storing computer data. SurveyShare makes every effort to protect your data. The results screens are password protected, so only you can access them. Your password is stored encrypted in the database, so SurveyShare employees cannot access your account without your consent.
